After you sign up, we email you a personal subscription URL (a webcal:// link). Paste it into Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, or Outlook once, and you're done. Your calendar app refetches the feed on its own schedule, typically every hour or so. New matches show up, postponements get rewritten, and venue changes land automatically. The fixtures appear right next to your meetings and birthdays, in the calendar you already check every day.
Connected calendars (Google, Apple, Outlook) are deliberately spoiler-free. We freeze a pre-match snapshot 48 hours before kickoff with venue, kickoff time, and current standings, and that's all the calendar ever sees. So when you scroll past Saturday's events on Sunday morning, nothing gets ruined. Scores and live results aren't going away forever, though. We're adding a dashboard inside Kickoff Calendar where you can opt in to see results, live scores, and post-match highlights after the final whistle. The split is intentional: protect your calendar from spoilers, and give you a place to catch up when you actually want to.
Pro keeps working for the full 365 days from your most recent payment, no matter when you cancel. After that period ends, your feed quietly downgrades to Free (one team, rolling next five kickoffs) on the next calendar refresh. No broken events, no orphan reminders, no notification storm.
Because the calendar app you already use every day is the better app for this. A separate app would mean another icon to install, another login, another notification stream, and a future surface for ads to creep onto. For fixture data that changes only a handful of times each season, that math doesn't add up. If you'd still like a home-screen shortcut, you can install Kickoff Calendar as a PWA in two taps from your browser.
Currently 18 leagues across three groups. Europe's top five — Premier League, LaLiga, Serie A, Bundesliga, Ligue 1 — and all three UEFA club competitions (Champions League, Europa League, Conference League). Japanese football: J1, J2, plus AFC Champions League Elite. And the leagues most calendars skip: Belgian Pro League, Eredivisie, Primeira Liga, MLS, Saudi Pro League, FIFA World Cup, and International Match Week. Additional leagues and cup competitions will be added in future updates.
Four things: your email address, the teams you've selected, your reminder timing, and your time zone. That's the full dataset. No social graph, no tracker pixels, no ad-targeting cookies, and your subscription URL never gets shared with a third-party dashboard. Delete your account and the feed URL returns 404 within seconds; your connected calendars empty themselves on the next fetch.
No — cancelling Pro keeps your account intact and only downgrades the feed shape. To remove everything (feed URL, email, preferences, AI chat history), delete your account from Settings, or email us and we'll handle it. The deletion propagates to your calendars within a few minutes.
